Well-Told Sustainability: The Key to Making a Commitment Have an Impact
For years, Essity has been driving initiatives to reduce its environmental impact through the efficient use of resources, innovation in renewable and recyclable materials, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
What we did
However, it needed to better structure and communicate its commitment to sustainability internally. A clear argumentation was required for the sales team, along with basic training for the entire workforce on sustainability, particularly in relation to the Health & Medical sector.
_Analysis of internal information: Review of market studies, performance reports, and annual reports.
_Identification of existing initiatives: Mapping of sustainable actions across the entire value chain.
Development of e-learning training: Organisation of information and key messages into four interactive courses: Basic concepts of sustainability, Pillars of Essity’s commitment, Strategies for reducing environmental impact and Challenges and opportunities in Health & Medical.
_Design of materials: Production and layout of graphic elements and downloadable resources added to the courses.
